Team members are Coulter Carlson, Ashlee Anderson, Danielle Haug, Shannon Brophy, Andrea Christianson, Cinda Stretesky, and Jay Bristol. Ashlee says that the livestock judging team has been a great experience so far and that she is looking forward to traveling to the national contest.
RODEO CLUB DOING WELL!
EWC students doing great at recent rodeos include: Ty Kenner, Wylie Johnson, Wylie Cross, Jayce Johnson, Jamie Tafoya, Derek Kenner, Amanda Bolerjack, Chris Cover, and Jared Bilby at the Chadron rodeo. We will try to get an updated list for next month’s email letter. Good Luck at LCCC’s rodeo this weekend!
STOCK DOG TRIALS COMING TO TORRINGTON!
EWC’s Ag and Vet.Tech students have been invited to help with this regional contest (Feb. 10-11). There will be some preliminary work before the actual event: contacting previous sponsors, etc. and event set-up on Feb. 9th. The Stock Dog Trial Association will make a donation back to EWC, so we really want to help them. Contact Tim (532-8271) for more information.
BLACK TIE AND BLUE JEANS BALL!
EWC Ag students are invited to help with this EWC Foundation event. Some 300 people will be attending the Dinner/Dance party on January 27. Students and faculty will be acting as servers, hosts, coat attendants, etc. All proceeds will be used for Agriculture & Livestock Judging Scholarships, Lab Equipment, and Supplies. We should have a ‘Grand’ time! Students should contact Monte, Tim, or JD for volunteer duties.
