World Leader visits EWC Rodeo Team

Former Lancer Rodeo Team member and EWC graduate, Dean Gorsuch attended EWC rodeo practice Tuesday, November 7th. Dean is headed to the Prorodeo Tour Championship Finale in Dallas, TX on November 10. Then he is off to his second National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV at the end of November. He is currently leading the world standings in the Steer Wrestling with $93,140 in earnings.
Coach Jake Clark stated “He attended practice to give our steer wrestlers some assistance as well as give himself a tune up.” “I don’t get many chances to practice at this stage with all the traveling and it is rewarding to help out the college guys” said Dean.
“Dean is such an inspiration to all of us to follow. Besides being an amazing athlete and steer wrestler his is one of the nicest guys in the world. No matter how many times he wins the world he will always come help anyone out. We all really enjoy and appreciate him coming to practice” said Brad Johnson, EWC Rodeo Team Member.
“It is great when Dean comes to practice. He has an amazing work ethic and attitude and is a great teacher. We wish him the best of luck at Dallas and the National Finals Rodeo” stated Coach Clark.
