R U a Reader?

EWC students, faculty and staff are participating in a READ poster project with the EWC Library. READ posters have been popping up all across campus and are very popular!

It's Christmas and a Dicken's Christmas

A Dicken’s Christmas was the theme for the EWC Christmas Concert. Attendees were greeted by carolers in the lobby and were able to participate in the EWC student art show and silent auction. The collegiate choir and community choir joined together and performed an excellent program that delighted all. A local handbell choir, The Joyful Ringers also performed some beautiful pieces. The children’s choir finished the night performing some traditional favorites. Guests were then treated to coffee, punch and cookies at the conclusion of the concert.

Technology Day What a shock !

Over 160 students and instructors from eleven different high schools were on the EWC campus for our annual Technology Day event. Students spent three hours doing hands-on activities in the following areas: business, computer science, cosmetology, agriculture, criminal justice, welding, machine tooling, and construction trades. In the photo is EWC Criminal Justice instructor Larry Curtis who had a taser demonstration performed on him! Needless to say…he really took one for the team!

Thank You EWC Foundation !!!

The EWC Foundation recently held its annual reception for donors and those students who receive their scholarships. This event gives students and donors an opportunity to meet. There is currently over $158,000 in EWC Foundation scholarships available for EWC students this year.

Night of Elegance at EWC

EWC students were escorted to tables and served a prime rib dinner by faculty and staff at the annual Night of Elegance event. Students really enjoyed being served by the faculty and also the opportunity to get dressed up. A dance followed this always popular event.
